Romario Shepherd to Nurse, out Caught by Tahir!! A superb finish from Shepherd and fittingly finishes with a wicket - was the slower ball and Nurse was shaping for the paddle sweep, no pace on it and all he can do is to paddle it towards short fine, Tahir tumbles forward and completes the catch. Three runs and 2 wickets in the 20th over. Nurse c Tahir b Romario Shepherd 1(4)

W
Romario Shepherd to R Reifer, out Caught by Pooran!! A fine edge and Shepherd has a wicket - fuller length delivery and well wide of off, not quite the yorker this time - Reifer was looking to swing it over mid-wicket, gets a thin little nick and it's a straightforward grab for Pooran. R Reifer c Pooran b Romario Shepherd 10(7) [6s-1]
18.4
4
Motie to R Reifer, byes, FOUR, that has gone right through everyone, but Pooran should have stopped it - pushed through quicker and spinning into the left-hander, Reifer backed away on the pull and missed - Pooran didn't follow the line and can't stop it either
18.3
W
Motie to Holder, out Caught by Shoaib Malik!! This is much better from Motie - pushed one full and wide of off, Holder had to reach out on the drive - no timing as the ball comes off the bottom of the bat, scooped it high and down Malik's bucket-like hands at long-off. A fine cameo from Holder, but his team needed a bit more. Holder c Shoaib Malik b Motie 22(7) [4s-2 6s-2]

4
Odean Smith to Holder, FOUR, 22 from the over, expensive from Smith as he stands in a tea-pot style - on a length and just outside off, Holder has free license to swing, he does and the thick edge flies past the keeper

W
Odean Smith to Glenn Phillips, out Bowled!! Right through Phillips and the stumps are in disarray - beaten for sheer pace, Phillips - length ball at the stumps, he backed away on the drive through the off-side and missed - the off-stump is knocked out of its groove, the middle-stump is pegged back and Phillips has to go - big wicket for the Warriors, Phillips could have really hurt them in these last few overs. Glenn Phillips b Odean Smith 44(31) [4s-2 6s-4]

6
Motie to Glenn Phillips, SIX, lovely, too full and sliding into the right-hander, Phillips gets behind the line and then swings it through the line, as clean as a whistle and it went sailing into the stands at long-on
15.4
W
Motie to Smit Patel, out Caught by Hetmyer!! This was coming - Patel was never looking comfortable, the dot ball pressure was telling on him and he holes out to long-on. Might not be a bad bargain for the Royals, this brings in Holder. NIcely tossed up on off, slower and just outside off - Patel got underneath the lofted on-drive, plenty of height and now power behind the shot, Hetmyer ran in from the deep and completed the catch. Smit Patel c Hetmyer b Motie 16(21) [4s-1]

Romario Shepherd to Smit Patel, 2 runs, this has gone high into the night sky - Tahir calls for the catch, running back from short third man, but he never looked like getting under it, the ball kept swirling away from his reach and falls besides him. On a good length and shaping across the right-hander, a blind slog from Patel and the ball caught the top-edge
13.3

Tahir to Azam Khan, out Lbw!! Two wickets in two overs. The Warriors are pulling things back through their experienced players. It was Hafeez in the previous over and now Tahir. Azam never looked comfortable and his promotion up the order hasn't worked out. He picks a very full delivery to sweep and plays all over it, misses and is struck on the back thigh right in front of the stumps. That was crashing into middle-stump. Azam Khan lbw b Tahir 4(8)

Hafeez to Charles, out Caught by Shoaib Malik!! The two Pakistan veterans combine to get rid of Charles. The Warriors desperately needed that wicket as Charles was looking in ominous form. He goes for that slog sweep again and this time he's hitting to the bigger boundary, Malik takes it right on the edge of the fence near deep backward square, tosses the ball up as he goes out of the rope and comes back in to complete the catch. Showed excellent composure to hold on to the catch. Charles c Shoaib Malik b Hafeez 40(21) [4s-6 6s-2]

4
Motie to Charles, FOUR, another big over, 16 runs. Pooran is not happy with the line. Motie strays down leg, Charles kneels inside the line and helps it along the way with a paddle sweep. No chance for long leg to stop that

6
Motie to Charles, SIX, taken in the crowd. Charles is not allowing Motie to settle down. He sinks to his knee and slog sweeps it over deep square leg, lost his balance while playing the shot but the connection was clean as the ball cleared the fence comfortably
6.2
4
Motie to Charles, FOUR, in the air and Pooran shouted "catch it, catch it". But the ball was not close to the fielder. This one drifts in with the angle, Charles sweeps it uppishly towards long leg and the fielder does not get around to have a chance

4
Odean Smith to Charles, FOUR, this looks like a belter of a surface. The sprinkling of water has certainly helped to quicken the pitch. Even the slower balls are coming on nicely, Charles waits and cuts it through backward point. No one in the deep to stop that
4.2
6
Odean Smith to Charles, SIX, whoa! That's one of the biggest sixes of the tournament. It goes high and clears the manual scoreboard. Back of a length delivery but right in the slot, Charles has a clean swing of the bat and sends it sailing over the deep mid-wicket fence. The senior members having a chat with Smith now

4
Odean Smith to Charles, FOUR, smashed! Charles was waiting for something in his arc and this was right up there, he cleared that front leg and swatted it in the air past mid-wicket. Hetmyer dived but the ball was past him before he could complete his move

Romario Shepherd to Mayers, out Caught by Odean Smith!! Shepherd has the last laugh. But Mayers has done his job. He has given Barbados Royals a fast start. Now up to the middle order to capitalize on that. It was the slower off-cutter which held on the surface and deceived Mayers, he was through the loft early and only managed to chip it towards mid-off, Smith backtracks and stretches his right hand up to take the catch. He made it difficult for himself but luckily for the Warriors he held on. Mayers c Odean Smith b Romario Shepherd 36(20) [4s-4 6s-2]
3.5
6
Romario Shepherd to Mayers, SIX, he's peppering that short leg-side boundary. Shepherd banged into the surface and Mayers was ready for it, quickly swivels and nails the pull over deep square leg. There was a fielder in the deep but he was a mere spectator

6
Romario Shepherd to Mayers, SIX, shot! Mayers is giving the Royals a good start. This was not a bad delivery by any stretch, back of a length and around off, Mayers extends the backfoot punch and nails it all the way over wide long-on. A very difficult shot but he made it look easy

C Hemraj to Mayers, FOUR, Mayers immediately makes them pay. Hemraj goes fuller in length and Mayers takes the aerial route, he goes inside out over extra cover and the ball bounces just inside the boundary rope
2.3
C Hemraj to Mayers, no run, dropped? Yes. Pooran has shelled one. Darted in on off-stump, Mayers is caught in the crease and he has a poke, the outside edge hits Pooran on the glove and drops to ground. It was a big deflection but you expect a keeper to catch that
2
4
Kevin Sinclair to Mayers, FOUR, crunched! That's the best he's played. Once more no flight from Sinclair, Mayers hangs back and punches it through extra cover, the timing and placement were spot on as the ball raced away
1.5
4
Kevin Sinclair to Mayers, FOUR, wrong line from Sinclair. He got away with one early in the over but not this time. Sliding down leg, Mayers stays inside the line and helps it along the way with a neat tickle

C Hemraj to Mayers, FOUR, edged and four. There was a slip for the first two balls but he was removed and the ball goes exactly where he would have been. Throws it fuller and draws Mayers into the drive, he goes hard and the outside edge flies down to third man
